For more than 50 years, I worked with and studied boards around the world: what drives them, what derails them, and what defines excellence in governance. I’ve served on more than 40 public and private boards and taught thousands of directors across the world.

Through it all, I learned that good governance is about process—it’s about people, purpose, and the insights to ask better questions. My work now focuses on helping directors think more clearly, decide more wisely, and lead more effectively.
